what are Actions?

Actions are easy-to-use javascript plug-ins

They add interactivity and special functionality to web pages, like Pop-up menus and Form checking.

The best part is, you don’t have to know javascript programming!

These plug-ins are available as GoLive Actions and Dreamweaver Behaviors.

See the Dreamweaver page for the Actions that have been converted to Behaviors.

There are three files to a Behavior. One is an HTML page and two are Javascript text files. These are NOT executable files and contain lines of plain ASCII text.
They are simply instructions to Dreamweaver and browsers on how to execute Javascript.
Actions are the easiest and fastest way to put javascript to work on your website

Actions come as Freeware, Shareware and Commercial.

Many of these plug-ins need frequent upgrading to keep up with the constantly changing Browser world. A time consuming job.

Commercial grade Actions are usually kept up-to-date and are better detailed with more features. At actionscafé, the software is also backed by full and quick support.

Most Actions are easy to set up*. Just link them to some element on your page then set the Action's options. The browser runs the javascript when someone triggers the link. It’s that easy.

* Some Actions require more set up than others. Contact actionscafé for more information on an Action's set up.

Look at the Software pop-up menu on this page to see over 80 Business Quality plug-ins arranged by categories.

These are commercial grade Actions that can save you days of work and influence the way you design.

Our only advertising comes from satisfied customers.

If you like the software and support, please tell another user. We would appreciate it.
